The LC22DV27UT includes ATSC/NTSC tuners to receive off-air broadcasts as well as digital cable QAM capability to receive non-scrambled digital cable programming. I purchased this lcd tv for my 10 year old son. No problems with it, my 10 year old can watch DVDs and use it to play games. It exceeeded expectations for this price point.

For the in-laws, they like I like:). Great sound (plenty of volume), lightweight, easy to move around. No problems in well lit room (daylight), remote straight forward easy to use (not confusing). Highly recommend would buy another for myself.
