Another Notebook that support Intel Penryn already come for US market, Acer just launched their new AS5920-6574 and AS7720-6604, both backup by Intel Core 2 Duo Penryn 45 nanometer processors. It will strengthen up their Aspire laptop lines up and ready to grab a chance in US competitive but high demand market.

The AS5920-6574 adopt 15.4-inch LCD screen and supported by 2.1GHz T8100 Intel Penryn possessors, DVD burner, 3GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 512MB dedicated video card, DVI port, 250GB hard drive and powered by Windows Vista Home Premium

The brother, AS7720-6604 also carried much similar features as above list, the differences only at 17-inch LCD screen, HDMI output and 320GB of storage, much better space then it previous brother. Both gadget comes with built-in web camera on the top of the LCD panel, Dolby Home Theater sound system and two built-in subwoofer speakers. The AS7720-6604 also reload with Windows Vista Home Premium.

These new Acer notebooks also provide VGA and S-Video outputs, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11a/b/g/draft and 56k modem connections, along side with four USB ports, 5-in-1 media card reader, infra-red receiver, Firewire port and one ExpressCard slot.

The AS5920-6574 carried weight only at 6.6-pound with tag price at $1,199.99 while the AS7720-6604 carried 8.1-pound in weight and set price at $1,349.99 respectively. Very well contribution for Acer.
